Since 1700, an authentic retreat in nature.
Our farmhouse has very ancient origins.
For its special, almost ascetic beauty, for the view and the easy-to-reach location, the Prior Fathers of the Servants of Saint Mary of the convent of Città della Pieve chose it as a country residence, where they could withdraw to pray and meditate. Records can be found in the historical archives as far back as the 1700s, when the farm was part of the municipality of Fighine, a small castle not far away and still visitable today.
Even today you can still feel their presence.
In the municipality of Cetona, on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, set within 34 hectares of unspoiled nature, stands Agriturismo Spazzavento, an organic farm we are deeply proud of.
Spazzavento is a place designed for everyone:

for those with more time to give themselves and who simply want to slow down.
A centuries-old cypress-lined avenue leads to the entrance of the property. The park, once an Italian-style garden, now welcomes a swimming pool set in greenery and peace.
Each apartment has a private umbrella, two sunbeds and two deckchairs, to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation.
All around, only open countryside and long walks in nature, because at Spazzavento the road truly ends. Because Spazzavento is a place for the soul.
Here time stands still.
And everything becomes simple, slow, beautiful.

This romantic and charming apartment, created from the old stables, with exposed-stone walls, wooden-beam ceilings and a fireplace, is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic, intimate holiday, also thanks to a private terrace, sheltered from prying eyes, where you can dine or enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation.

Olivo
The Olivo apartment, created from the old stables, features the traditional traits of a Tuscan farmhouse such as exposed stone walls, wooden beam ceilings and a fireplace.
It is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic and peaceful holiday. Like all our apartments it has a private outdoor area where you can dine or enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation.
Mandorlo
In the renovation of this apartment, we tried to keep the architectural taste of the period intact; floors and ceiling are still the original ones, and the large fireplace, once a gathering place for preparing meats and the farmhouse’s big lunches, today shines again and ensures a holiday with a country feel.
The large master bedroom also has 2 single beds and for this reason the Mandorlo apartment is perfect for a family with small children, who can also count on the spacious private garden and direct access to the pool.
Lauro
Located on the ground floor of our property, the Lauro apartment has all the features of an old country house: a large living room and a kitchen with fireplace, wide windows overlooking the park. It was once connected to the Cipresso apartment by a staircase, now closed but still there.
Probably the most charming room in the house is the bathroom created in an old oven, with vaulted ceilings and exposed stone walls. Like all our apartments, Lauro also has a private garden and direct access to the pool.

The pool (6x12x1.50m) is set in the greenery of the park with the utmost respect for the surrounding environment and is easily reached from the apartments, yet secluded enough not to deprive them of peace and quiet.
Guests have sunbeds and loungers available to place as needed in the sunny green areas or under the natural shade of the trees.
One of the special features of our farmhouse is the wonderful park behind the property, offering shade and coolness on hot summer days. The boxwood hedges surrounding the old well open the way to the park where, in the shade of centuries-old cypresses, wild plum trees, the splendid silver poplar and the small laurel grove, you can breathe in the magical scents of the countryside.

Welcome Aperitif
For all our guests, a welcome basket with all the products to make your farmhouse breakfast unique, and those who request it can book an extra basket so you can always have a breakfast ready to enjoy in your own apartment, in complete peace.
For all our guests we offer a welcome aperitif inside the apartment with local typical products such as cured meats and local pecorino cheeses, accompanied by a bottle of wine from our area. During the summer season the welcome aperitif can be arranged poolside with all our guests.

For us the environment matters, we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world and we want to keep it that way. That’s why we wanted to encourage green tourism by installing an electric charging station. So you can arrive at the farmhouse with your electric car and recharge it at our dedicated station.
